Loop runs 56:54
The loop can be heard at the Transportation & Ticket Center, Main Entrance, and on Main Street, U.S.A. For years, I've heard that the WDW version was the same as the Christmas loop used in Disneyland, a copy of which, running 61:09, is in general circulation. A playlist for the DL loop can be found here. I ended up with a partial recording last year and, from what I could tell, the WDW version was not the same. I made a full recording last night and here are the differences between the two that I noted:
- Some of the tracks are off-speed/off-pitch. Of course, this could result from my recording, but my observations lead me to believe the 61:09 DL track in circulation is not a source copy, but, rather, a reconstruction of the loop.
- O Tannenbaum is not included.
- Do You Hear What I Hear? has the first ~20 seconds cut.
- Jingle Bell Rock has the first ~7 seconds cut.
- For reasons unknown to me, it appears that Jingle Bell Rock, Jingle Bells, and ~39 seconds of Christmas Waltz are played again immediately following Lobe Den Herren. This repeat is not included in my run time listed above.
Can anyone confirm whether the audio cut from Do You Hear What I Hear? and Jingle Bell Rock are actually used in the DL loop, as represented in the 61:09 track?
