Innoventions at Disneyland

Hello:

I would like to try recording the Disneyland Innoventions exterior loop when I visit the park in April. Has anyone already scoped this out? Does the music come from the building itself or are there speakers surrounding the building? I guess I'm wondering if an induction recording is even possible.

I'm visiting from Missouri and will be with family, so I really only get one shot at this. Any information is tremendously appreciated.

Thanks,
"Very Good Advice" performed by Robert Smith, is the only song from Disney's 1951 animated film "Alice in Wonderland" that appears on the collection.

Coming to the big screen in Disney Digital 3D™ on March 5, 2010, ALICE IN WONDERLAND is an epic 3D fantasy adventure starring Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter and Mia Wasikowska as 19-year-old Alice, who returns to the whimsical world she first encountered as a young girl, reuniting with her childhood friends: the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Dormouse, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, and of course, the Mad Hatter.
Reflections of Earth/Vancouver Olympics Opening Ceremony

If you are a fan of the Millennium Celebration at Epcot, especially the music from Reflections of Earth and the Tapestry of Nations/Dreams, you should definitely check out the music from the Opening Ceremony of the Vancouver Olympics. When I watched the ceremony on TV, I kept hearing a familiar tone to the music, and now that I've listened to the score in its entirety several times, I can tell you that it is so close to both RoE and Tapestry, that there are at least half a dozen parts that are nearly direct quotes from those two works.

The two scores (the Vancouver one and the Epcot Millennium scores) are like sister works in that way (or perhaps the Vancouver opening is a successor to RoE/Tapestry), with much in the Olympic score that is different, but also enough similarity that I feel the composer, Dave Pierce, must have been involved in the creation of RoE/Tapestry. Does anyone have any information linking Pierce and Gavin Greenaway, the composer from the Millennium Celebration? The quotes in the music are so direct and unmistakable that they are either the most flattering inspiration ever, or there must have been collaboration (or it's a lawsuit waiting to happen! ).

Regardless, it is great music, and if you like RoE and Tapestry, you will surely like the additional music. It's available on iTunes at:
Sounds of Vancouver 2010: Opening Ceremony Commemorative Album

If anyone has more information on the link between these works, I would love to know more!

"After the sun goes down, our Walt Disney World parks will light up the night with 'Summer Nightastic!'," announced Meg Crofton, president of Walt Disney World Resort, at a media event Wednesday.

Disney magic will shine and shimmer in a whole new light. Here's a look around:

With floats and characters appearing for the first time at Walt Disney World Resort, Disney's "Main Street Electrical Parade" returns with its joyous sights and sounds. Direct from Disneyland and marking its first engagement in Florida since 2001, the cherished parade will be led by Tinker Bell waving from the basket of a magical balloon aboard a new float. Pinocchio and Snow White join the parade this summer, aboard bright new floats. Disney's "Main Street Electrical Parade" is set for its summer-long nighttime premiere in early June at Magic Kingdom.

The Twilight Zone™ Tower of Terror welcomes "drop-ins" this summer with even more pulse-racing surprises. New lighting effects and the addition of a new drop sequence, created especially for "Summer Nightastic!", will bring unexpected frights to guests who step into that infamous service elevator. If they dare.

What could be more summery than fireworks on a star-studded night? Magic Kingdom will treat guests to a special summer fireworks spectacular. The night sky will explode in vivid colors and brilliant visual effects as whimsical music fills the air.

Other fun! The return of the Sounds Like Summer concert series to Epcot and extended evening hours at Disney's Animal Kingdom several times a week add up to summer fun as only Disney can do — at all four Walt Disney World theme parks.

Disneyland Mr. Lincoln

I finally got back to Disneyland after 9 months and got to see the "New" Mr Lincoln. Now maybe i missed a previous thread but i really enjoyed the use of bringing the older shows combined to make the new one... including a few surprises. The entrance lobby uses previous narration and music which was nice. Keeping some of the 50th displays and film in lobby also left a nice touch to new show. For me the big surprise was the opening of show using using the main theme music soundtrack of the circlevision film "America The Beautiful as both its intro... opening... and background portions. The incorporating of Two Brothers back into show. A slightly altered version of the original speech is heard and the return of Battle Hymn of the Republic as its ending (or so i thought) After The curtains closed a film appears shortly over the curtain then above the doors showing a flying eagle and "Golden Dreams (American Adventure version) plays as you exit theater and walk out exit lobby past portraits of famous Americans. This is essentially an altered way of presenting the "film" at American adventure and "film" ala Golden Dreams at DCA (meant to tug at the heart). Overall id say this is the better of the 3 versions previous (We can forget the 3D audio version... it was way to distracting and took away from the entire show. Show moved at a good pace and the opening film did not seem as long as older one.

I'm very much looking forward to this show. As to the music in particular, I'm hoping it gets it's own CD release, like Wishes or even Disney's Electrical Parade. The show is rumored to be running close to 25 or 30 minutes, longer than Fantasmic!, and along with any post-show music (there's a pop version of the World of Color theme which has been played previously at presentations for the show, I'm not sure where/when it will be played) should be plenty for a release.

I've been digging around the forum archives a bit and still haven't found a satisfactory answer for this. From what I understand, the commonly traded MuppetVision 3D instrumental tracks play in a loop predominantly in DCA, but NOT at DHS (or, if they ARE played at DHS, it's extremely softly). In contrast, the DHS loop is heard to be mostly vocal tracks from the original Muppet soundtracks.

As such, my question is this: does anyone have playlists for either the instrumental or vocal loops? There's a list at DisneyMusicLoops that's identical for both parks but has nothing but titles, so the information I'm working from right now is muddled at best.
