Well we're movin' on up,
To the east side.
To a deluxe apartment in the sky.

Magic Music is in the process of moving to a Virtual Private Server with a top-tier web hosting company.

Sometime in the next couple of days weeks, the forums will close, temporarily, as we prepare to throw the switch.

Once we have pointed to the new server, it may take up to 72 hours for DNS propagation to complete.

After we are back online, expect things to be much, much faster around here!

Thanks for the warning. I panic when it says the site is down.
May be able to get around to doing some jobs around the house then

Not to worry. I'm busy moving all of our existing furniture, appliances, and nicknacks to our deluxe apartment in the sky.

The plan was to get the move finished up today. But, instead, I wasted the day away trying to repair some database tables that were damaged as the result of a mischievous member's late-night antics.

The forums are back open, for now, but some things are still broken and will remain that way until tomorrow when, hopefully, Invision Power's Tier II Support will be able to work some of their magic for us.

Please note that if you registered for a new member account within the past 24 hours, you will need to do so again. I apologize for the inconvenience.

As for the move, it will probably be next weekend before I will have any time to work on it again.

The move was completed today. We were offline/unavailable for less than one hour.
