I've been told that the current loop for the Fuente Del Oro restaurant at DLRP is very similar to the loop that used to play in the Casa Mexicana restaurant at Disneyland until it closed on April 1st 2001 (nice date to pick).
The listing for the DLRP restaurant is here:

We've not yet sourced the tracks for DLRP (hence "working playlist") but do have a live recording for ID purposes.
Any information on the Disneyland loop would be most welcome.

I remember a few songs from the old Casa loop, and they do seem to match up with what Fuente's listing shows so far. Both restaurants were open at the same time for a while, so would also be a potential spot for loop sharing.
Unfortunately, I don't have a recording of the old Casa Mexicana loop to use for definite identification. Was hoping that eventually someone may ID a few of the track sources from Fuente... so could check them out and see if they at least had the right "feel."

Thanks. If there are some track titles the same, that's a good indication that it may be a shared loop.
Being a live recording (in a noisy restaurant) tends to rule out Shazam and the like.
If we could just ID the source of one track..............sigh.

I've been listening for a "South of the Border" recording that's even in the right style AND instrumental. No luck so far.

Have a possible source for South of the Border (Down Mexico Way). It's a long shot, but the best I've found for style, non-vocal and the LP was released before either restaurant... so it's possible.
If that works, this same group has done about 8 of the 20 you have listed. I've sent you a direct message...
